Times are hard

In these troubling financial times it appears people just aren't dropping change. And when they do, others are quickly picking it up.
Having scoured the ground everywhere I go for the past several days I have finally come up with the second coin of my search. Yet another penny, while waiting for my daughter's bus.

This brings the totals of my endeavor thus far to .02 cents...

First coin found

I found the first coin this evening, just outside my apartment. It was a penny.
I find that I'm not terribly used to looking down. I suppose that will have to change if this is going to work at all...

Mandatory first post, and such

This blog is one of the many popping up that details the odd quest for spare change found on the ground, and how it can accumulate if one were to do something wacky like pick it up...

Going forward I will detail daily amounts and roughly where they were found. I might also include the occasional picture of said coinage...
